Master of Public Health in Health Care Administration and Policy

The Master of Public Health in Health Care Administration and Policy is an accredited healthcare degree program in Las Vegas that prepares students to assume leadership roles in public healthcare organizations. It is the only graduate healthcare administration program in the Nevada Public University System. The curriculum includes critical competencies for leadership in healthcare. Students are provided an understanding of finance, ethics, legalities, delivery, management and administration. Students engage in research designed to resolve problems throughout the healthcare industry and use their education to meet the needs of healthcare organizations in Nevada and beyond. The program is a 45-credit hour program unless the student chooses to complete a research thesis which then requires 48-credit hours. Programs are available in a traditional classroom setting, online or a hybrid of both.
